Meta Technology Implementation for Learning

A complete organizational shift from how learning assets were designed from primarly classroom and eLearning modules to microlearning and Performance Support. I became an certified 5 Moments of Need Instructional Designer to design and lead the entire organization in a new design methodology, build philosophy, enabling the team to create Performance Support solutions and launch an Electronic Support System - a new technology for entire organization.

The global learning team received an increase in demand for learning programs and solutions in a post-pandemic environment with rapidly changing requirements and timelines leading to inconsistent processes, design standards, and content builds. Learning solutions were heavily formal interventions that were time consuming to build and deliver and not meeting the true needs of the learner.

The organization invested in shifting the design methodology to the 5 Moments of Need - meeting the learner where they are at - with the right solution, at the right time, available in 2 clicks or 10 seconds. This shift required a large organization focus in the ways of working, a launch of a new technology and upskilling the team on the 5 Moments of Need design methodology.

This included a customized learning path including videos, eLearnings, micro learnings and a self-guided tour through the newly build Electronic Performance Support System and tool.

Additional job aids and check lists were created and embedded in tool to give the team the right amount of information, at the right time - in tool - when they were completing a new step in the process.
